The beginning of RoxSun is no exception.

As a family, we have never been without animals.  At times the numbers have been large.  Many of the critters have been rescued (found and/or adopted), or have just "appeared" on our doorstep and stayed.  Today we have 6 dogs, 3 horses, a cockatiel, and fish.  I believe there is a cat living in the barn.

Some of the animals over the years have had special needs.  Our most recent additions are two rescued Pit Bulls, Roxie and Sunny.  They are delightful dogs with amazing personalities.  Both are also allergic to most dog foods (any that contain wheat, corn or soy products).  We have found that this is fairly common in the Terrier breeds.  Terriers also seem to require more "incentives" to do what they are asked, so treats are a big factor in their training and reward programs.  Commercial dog treats have a lot of the ingredients that Roxie and Sunny are allergic to, and many preservatives, dyes and additives that just don't seem very healthy.  So...RoxSun is our answer to "What do we give to the dogs we love to treat?"

We experimented with various recipes, having our own taste-testers onsite, and discovered that all of our dogs, friend's dogs, strangers' dogs, and random stray dogs, absolutely love RoxSun treats.  Even better...all of the biscuits are made from natural ingredients, contain no preservatives, and most are hypo-allergenic.
